A night out for a special occasion, I suppose, has always been sort of theraputic. It gives folks a chance to put on their 'finest' and associate with other people, eat something special, and create another fond memory in a life filled with the everyday struggle. The fellow in the foreground is alone and, somehow, he likes it that way ... behid him is the successful gentleman and his wife taking a 'break' ... there's an older couple behind them waiting for their 'car' or, maybe a taxi, and coming up the street is a horse-drawn carriage ... and the city lights reflecting in the cloudy sky ... looks like it rained heavily while they were inside the theatre. |
